What is cash flow? Well to be honest, that question also haunts me down as soon as i realize that i have to explain to you all the meaning of our group name "Cash Flow". According to Dictionary of Financial and Business Terms by Lico Reis, cash flow (in investment term) is a representation of earnings before depreciation, amortization and non-cash charges (confuse? well me too -__-). Let's take a look at another easier-to-understand definition of cash flow that i found on Google. According to Investopedia (www.investopedia.com) cash flow is a revenue or expense stream that changes a cash account over a given
period. Cash inflows usually arise from one of three activities -
financing, operations or investing - although this also occurs as a
result of donations or gifts in the case of personal finance. Cash
outflows result from expenses or investments. This holds true for both
business and personal finance. So how about it? Have you figured it out? :)
